In this episode, season 4 continues with the series on Denominations. This episode goes into the Adventist movement. We summarize its history, sources of authority, structure, and position on the sacraments/ordinances and conclude with its distinctive emphasis and divergences. See the landing page for sources/further reading.

NOTE: The section on the SDA is not exhaustive by any stretch of the imagination on doctrines and practices of concern. Instead, it is a broad sweep. Other resources should be considered, remembering that this Denomination series is not focused on full exposés on individual groups. Nor does this episode reflect all of my personal thoughts and concerns about the group in question, as I have tried to keep the series neutral.
